NakshatraTalks ("we", "us", "our", or the "App") is a mobile application that provides online astrology consultation services, connecting users with professional astrologers via chat, voice call, and live video sessions. - Payment Information: When you recharge your wallet, payment is processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your card or UPI details on our servers.
- Session Data: Chat messages, voice call recordings (if enabled), and review/rating content submitted after sessions.
- Support Communications: Messages you send us via email, in-app support, or customer care.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information.
- Usage Data: App features used, session duration, interactions, crash reports, and performance data.
- Push Notification Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to send you notifications.
- Log Data: IP address, access times, error logs, and diagnostic information.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your user account and authenticate your logins via OTP.
- To facilitate chat, voice call, and live video consultations with astrologers.
- To process wallet recharges, session charges, and maintain transaction history.
- To personalize your astrology consultation by sharing the birth details you provide with the astrologer you choose.
- To send you service-related notifications (session accepted, call ringing, wallet updates, astrologer availability).
- To improve the App, diagnose issues, prevent fraud, and ensure security.
- To communicate with you about updates, customer support, and promotional offers (you may opt out).
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
3. Sharing Your Information
3.1 With Astrologers
When you initiate a session, we share your name, profile image, and the selected intake profile (birth details) with the astrologer you connect with. This is essential for providing the consultation service.

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NakshatraTalks, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties.
4. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained as long as your account is active.
- Session records, chat messages, and call logs: Retained for up to 12 months for quality, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
- Payment records: Retained for up to 7 years as required under Indian tax and accounting laws.
- Reviews and ratings: Retained permanently (associated with the astrologer's profile) unless you request deletion.
When you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except data we are legally required to retain.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between the App and our servers.
- Secure token-based authentication (JWT) with automatic refresh and expiration.
- Authentication tokens stored in encrypted Secure Store on your device.
- PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through Razorpay (we never store card details).
- Server-side access controls, rate limiting, and regular security audits.
Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.
6. Children's Privacy
NakshatraTalks is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
